Majestic Gaits Holland Dutch Warmbloo Stallion Prospects

Thanks to VDL Stud for helping us find such wonderful prospects for us. These colts will stay in Holland until they are 2 years old and prepare for the stallion selections in the Fall of 2005. We've selected colts with superb conformation, movement and character out of fabulous mothers and motherlines. It is about a 1% chance to get approved, but if they do not we have some super geldings for sport to bring home for sale.

Welmingh: 2003 Colt ( Flemmingh KEUR x Olympic Cocktail x Michelangelo x Eclatant x Wachtmeeser) The Olympic Cocktail mare is out of the famous Daula mare line. This colts dam Sadaula by Olympic Cocktail out of the famous daula mare line in Holland was selected as a premium foal and sold at the prestigious Mid Beemster foal auction for 24,000 guilders. The Daula line has 6 mares in the top 300 mares of Holland. It produces! Flemmingh is a very popular and successful breeding sire in Holland and also in America as well as all around the world. He produces good characters who love to work. We are very excited about having another Flemmingh colt in Holland after tragically losing our stallion Sylvester C. He wont replace him, but he has everything. This big moving flashy bay colt with nice white socks moved with a lot of power, elevation, with big free moving gaits. I hope soon we hear his name as we have high hopes for him in the future.

Washington: 2003 colt by Orame out of a keur mare by Animo. This mare is the same prestigious motherline as our own keur mare Larinette who has produced us 3 stallion prospects already. This motherline has produced the stallions Matterhorn and Amethist. The mare Firette by Ahorn was the champion of Brussell in 1990 for all of Europe. Washington's sire Orame is the only stallion to win both the 70 day test and Stallion show. He is one of the most popular young stallions in Holland and America. His sire Indoctro is Keur and one of my favorites. We have at home in New Hampshire an Indoctro stallion prospect also out of Larinette and also an Orame colt. We know this is a producing motherline bred by VDL! This flashy bay colt has 4 white socks, big movement and self carriage and big plans from his owners!

Congrats to Linda Ross, Atlanta Georgia! She is a co-owner of Washington with us. He is really quite special.

Zeppo: This exciting 2004 Prestige colt comes from the Yranta motherline #24 in Holland that also produced the stallions Renville and Adios. Stevie Kehm has a super Goodtimes gelding Tyfoon out of the same mare. We are very excited about this fancy moving colt and hope for the best in the Fall of 2006 stallion selections.
