The promising Night Life is a breeding product of the VDL Stud and combines well-known stallions Arezzo VDL, Zavall VDL and Galoubet with the Belgian sire Erco van ‘vt Roosakker. Night Life shows a lot of scope and quality and seems to have a great attitude.
Sire Erco van ‘t Roosakker is a son of Darco and jumped with multiple riders at the highest level. He is bred out of the famous Kannan mare Babbe van ‘t Roosakker, a direct daughter of the world-famous Usha van ‘t Roosakker. In breeding Erco van ‘t Roosakker left his mark with offspring with all the scope, such as famous showjumpers Important de Muze, Iceman de Muze, Iphigeneia de Muze, Just An Hero and Electric Z.
Night Life’s grandsire Arezzo VDL is one of the best stallions of his generation; this preferent awarded Chin Chin son not only jumped at the highest level himself but also has many offspring in the international sport. The most famous is the Olympic showjumper VDL Edgar M, who ridden by Marlon Zanotelli is among world’s very best. Great-grandsire Zavall VDL brings in the strong genes of Casall and produced several international Grand Prix horses in Davall VDL, Davarusa, Elzarena, Flicka and Gilona AO.
Dam Ialba VDL also produced the KWPN invited stallion Murray VDL and finished third at the National Mare Show in Ermelo. For free jumping Ialba VDL scored 90 points and later in the IBOP she passed with 81.0 points. Great-granddam Re’Alba VDL is the dam of many international showjumpers, like the 1.60m showjumper Wilford VDL, Ferry VDL, Brasil VDL, Levon, Viper VDL and the very promising Grand Prix showjumper Harwich VDL, ridden by Marlon Zanotelli. The international Grand Prix showjumper Waliba VDL of Danielle Goldstein, the 1.60m showjumper Flavius Z, the Grand Prix showjumper Sandokan B and the Olympic showjumper Citizenguard Cadjanine Z are also closely related to Night Life.
In the KWPN Performance Test, Night Lifeconvinced the stallion selection committee with his jumping qualities and was approved with 82.5 points.
